A review of Dan Kindlon’s book “Too Much of a Good Thing: Raising Children of Character in an Age of Indulgence”. (This review is dated, but is a great overview of the book and Mr. Kindlon’s research findings).
Linda and Richard Eyre’s web sites, authors of “Teaching Your Children Values”. Although written in the 1990’s, I found this to be an incredibly practical book with specific things you can do from preschool to the teen years to instill various qualities of character in your children.
